Dijana Vican
Dijana Vican is a full professor at the Department of Pedagogy of the University of Zadar where she holds courses: Basic knowledge on education and upbringing, Theories of education in practice and Andragogy. She is Head of the Programme for the acquisition of teachers’ competencies and of a Postgraduate study of pedagogy at the University of Zadar. Areas of her scientific interests are: teacher education, curriculum planning and programming, qualification framework, entrepreneurship and adult education. Her education and scientific as well as professional trainings took place both in the country and abroad. She participates in national and international research projects and is included in the continuous reform process and education system improving from preschool to high education level. She is the Rector of the University of Zadar which she was founding. Nowadays it develops in the fields of humanities, social, natural, technical, biomedical and interdisciplinary sciences with related study programs. She was a president of the Council for the National Curriculum, and a State Secretary at the Ministry of Science, Education and Sports. Today she is a President of the Sectoral Council for Education and Sports and the president of a Special Expert Committee of the Government of Croatia for the Implementation of the Strategy of Education, Science and Technology. |
Vesna Anđelić
Vesna Anđelić is Head of a Section for Curricula in Agency for Vocational Education and Training and Adult Education (AVETAE), a national institution for planning, development, organization, implementation, study and improvement of VET and adult education system. Her fields of expertise and professional experience are vocational education and training policy, development of occupational standards, VET qualifications and curricula, European tools and instruments for VET. She applies her expertise in implementation of different European projects and activities directed towards development and improvement of VET system. She began her professional career as a teacher in 1992 and spent next twenty years working as a teacher in the field of electrical engineering and computing. She attained a title of Master of Science in Electrical Engineering and Information Technology (graduate university study programme) during academic education at the University of Zagreb, Faculty of Electrical Engineering and Computing. She continued her professional education after faculty in the field of operating systems, computer networking and EU projects. Her area of interest is quality assurance in education and implementation digital solutions. |
Regina Angelika Eichen
Regina Angelika Eichen is project Manager in Deutscher Volkshochschul-Verband e.V. / DVV – German Adult Education Association. She is responsible for ich-will-lernen.de and “erweiterte Lernwelten” (extended learning areas) – the digital strategy of the German Adult Association. She is also media scientist and media pedagogue. Since 1979 Regina is working in political and (inter-)cultural education as well as media education with adults. Teacher for basic skills and second language learners. Since 1998 she is responsible for the development of pedagogical online portals (learning, information, communication) for teachers, young people, low skilled and immigrants in different educational institutions. One of her main issues is training of pedagogues for using digital media in their own work. That means the conception and realization of blended learning courses to support teachers developing their own specific blended learning scenarios. True to the title of one part of the platform (second chance) she thinks every learner has the right for another chance to learn according to the own preconditions and to raise his participation in our society. Digital media provide important and helpful tools therefore. |
Erik van den Broek
Erik van den Broek started his working career as an IT-Professional for a software company in 1986; At present he works for DUO, a department of the Dutch Ministry of Education. After working as IT-consultant at DUO/Information Management from 2000-2005, he is senior consultant for DUO/International services since 2005. Presently co-chair of the Europass Innovation working group. Involved in the Open Badge community since 2014, and active in some Open Badge pilots in non-formal education. Erik holds an MSc, and is PRINCE2 practioner. |
Tamara Hudolin
Tamara Hudolin is currently Head of a Section for International Cooperation in Agency for Vocational Education and Training and Adult Education (AVETAE), a national institution for planning, development, organization, implementation, study and improvement of VET and adult education system. She has spent her career working in the field of education. Her fields of expertise and professional experience are vocational education and training policy, development of occupational standards, VET qualifications and curricula, European tools and instruments for VET. In the last ten years she is a member of various expert groups in VET, and an active collaborator with other vocational associations and stakeholders in Croatian educational system. She began her professional career as a teacher and spent next ten years working as a teacher of biology and chemistry. During that time she participated in development of Croatian National Educational Standard (CNES) for Chemistry. She attained a title of Professor of Biology and Chemistry (graduate university study programme) during academic education at the University of Zagreb, Faculty of Natural Sciences and Mathematics. She continued her professional education after faculty and currently attends master’s course at University of Zagreb. Her area of interest is quality assurance in education. |
Martina Hundrić
Martina Hundrić graduated from the Faculty of Economics and Business, Department of Organization and Management. In 2014 got the Master Degree in Economics of the European Union. Since 2008 Ms Hundrić is an employee of the Agency, where she has been working in the field related to the European Union funds as the Agency has the role of Implementing/Intermediary Body level 2 for EU funded projects (pre-accession IPA program, structural funds ESF, ERDF). Until 2012 she has been working as Contracting Specialist. In 2012 she became Head of the Department of Quality Assurance, and in June 2015 is appointed as the Assistant Director for the implementation of projects co-financed from European Union funds. She is a member of the Monitoring Committee for the Human Resources Development Operational Programme 2007-2013, and the Monitoring Committee for the Operational Programs Efficient Human Resources, as well as Competitiveness and Cohesion for the programming period 2014-2020. |
Irena Ištvanić
Irena Ištvanić graduated in 1993 from the University of Zagreb's Faculty of Forestry. She began her career as a highschool teacher at Obrtnička i industrijska graditeljska škola (Industrial and Construction Vocational School) where she taught subjects related to wood processing from 1993-2007. Ištvanić continued her career at the Agency for Vocational Education and Training and Adult Education in February 2007 as a Senior Advisor for Forestry and Wood Processing, as well as, Head of Department for Curriculum. Since 2011, she has been Head of Department for Vocational Qualification and Integration of Education with the Labour Market which deals with organizing and implementing assistant's certificates. As a member of a working group, she has participated in drafting numerous laws, by-laws and strategic documents related to vocational education. Ištvanić has been a member of the Committee for Drafting the Law on Vocational Education and a member of the Committee for Drafting the Development Program for Vocational Education and Training. Within the framework of the IPA project European quality assurance in vocational education and training, she participated as a member of two working groups: Institutional Development and Development Policy and Comprehensive pilot for self-evaluation of vocation schools. Within the framework of the IPA project Strengthening Institutional Framework for the Development of the VET Occupational Standards/Qualifications & Curricula, she participated in creating methodologies and development, as well as, preparation and adoption of occupational and qualification standards. As a member of the II Sectoral Council for Forestry and Wood Technology, she participated in assessing proposals for occupational and qualification standards. |
Morana Koludrović
Morana Koludrović has a PhD in the field of pedagogy, branch didactics. From 2008-2013, she was an assistant / researcher at the Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences in Split, from 2013-2015 senior assistant, and in 2015 she became assistant professor (field pedagogy, branch didactics) at the Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences in Split. From 2015 till now works as an external assistant at the Art Academy in Split on the course of which is the holder and contractor: Didactic, and at the Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences in Split on the course of which is the holder and contractor: Classroom management. From 2002-2013 she worked as a class teacher in several elementary schools, and as a Senior Advisor in institution of early and preschool education. She is a member of the working group for drafting recommendations on the quality of teaching and learning in the Croatian higher education and national Profeel competence and curriculum framework for improving the skills of teachers in higher education, she is a head of pedagogy at the Scientific Center of Excellence for school effectiveness and management, member of the project team on the project Making occupational standards and standards qualification standards for experts for adult education, deputy head of the Center for research and development of lifelong learning, from 2013-2015, and numerous other projects and activities. She also participated in numerous (21) international scientific conferences in the field of pedagogy, psychology and adult education. |
Sandra Kučina Softić
Sandra Kučina Softić is assistant director of the University of Zagreb University Computing Centre (SRCE). Also the head of the Center for e-Learning in SRCE and head of the Office for e-learning at the University of Zagreb. Her work focuses on monitoring and encouraging the implementation of e-learning institutions in the higher education system in Croatia as well as counseling and support institutions, teachers and students in the implementation of new technologies in the process of teaching and learning. 2016 she was appointed Croatian representative to the working group for digital skills and competencies within the "Strategic Framework for European cooperation in education and training (ET 2020) at the European Commission. Her area of interest is the strategic decision-making related to the systematic implementation of e-learning, open education and distance education, education technology and open educational content. She is a member of project teams in Croatia and at the European level and actively participates and presents at international conferences. 2014 she acquired the title of Master of Science in Digital Education at the University of Edinburgh, UK. Since 2013, member of the executive committee of the international organization European Distance and Learning Network (EDEN), and in 2016 was elected vice-president of the organization for the field of open professional cooperation. |
Jelena Lohmatova
Jelena Lohmatova is an expert in adult education (EQF level 6), a member of the board of Estonian National Association of Adult Educators (ANDRAS), Ambassador for Adult Education in Estonia (European Commission initiative EPALE - electronic platform for adult education in Europe) and has been declared the best Estonian Adult Educator in 2014. Jelena has competences in the field of adult education, the organization of adult education courses for teachers in adult education, project management, informal learning and international cooperation. She also completed education department for English Teacher at the Narva Teacher Training College, graduated in the field of English philology at the Tartu University, and acquired the Master’s degree in andragogy at Tallinn University. |
Jelena Pavičić
Jelena Pavičić is currently the Head of the Department of Labour Market and Education Harmonization at the Ministry of Labour and Pension System. Her academic background is in the field of linguistic disciplines and marketing communication management. At the present time, she is acquiring scientific experience as a Ph.D. student at the University of Zagreb in the interdisciplinary study of the Croatian culture. She gained experience in almost all areas of education policy (adult education, vocational education and training) and in the implementation of education policies in primary and secondary education, as well as in the field of regulated professions and recognition of foreign professional and educational qualifications, lifelong career guidance, national qualification framework, labour market and international and national occupational classification and other classifications. She participates in the development and implementation of strategies, legal documents, public policies and projects and as a representative of the Republic of Croatia in numerous working bodies at national and international level. |
Georgi Skorobogatov
Georgi Skorobogatov has a master’s degree in Andragogy (Tallinn University) and has been practicing in education of educators since 2006. His main research subject is a reflection of adult educator. He is a certified adult educator (EQF level 7) and an accessor of occupational qualification of adult educators. Georgi is a manager of the EPALE National Support Service (EPALE - electronic platform for adult education in Europe) and the National Europass Centre in Estonia. |
Ana Tecilazić Goršić
Ana Tecilazić Goršić is currently the Head of Sector for Quality of Higher Education, International Cooperation and European Affairs at the Ministry of Science and Education. Her academic background encompasses the fields of philosophy, languages and interdisciplinary European studies, and presently she is developing research experience in the field of educational and social policy as a PhD student at the University of Zagreb. She builds her experience in the areas of higher education public policy, lifelong learning, employability, quality assurance, recognition of foreign educational and professional qualifications, qualifications frameworks, validation of non-formal and informal learning, European affairs and internationalization of higher education. She takes part in the development of strategies, public policies, legislation and development projects in the areas of higher education and lifelong learning. She is the representative of Croatia in numerous bodies, groups and networks at the European level, a member of the European Qualifications Framework Advisory Group, the European Commission's Working Group on Modernization of Higher Education, the Committee of the European Quality Assurance Register for Higher Education, as well as the representative of Croatia in the international Bologna Follow-up Group and the working group on structural reforms in higher education. Moreover, she actively participates in the work of various bodies and groups at national level: she is a member of the National Group for Development of Social Dimension of Higher Education and a member of the National Council for Development of Human Potential as the national sectoral councils' coordinator. Also, she takes part in managing the Working Group for Internationalization of Education and the Forum for Lifelong Professional Guidance and Career Development. |
